A farewell-and-good-luck dinner was held in Kempton Park near Johannesburg for the squad from the deep end of Africa

Team South Africa, a squad of 25, got a fine send off to the Olympic Games at a farewell-and-good-luck dinner in Kempton Park near Johannesburg.

The team, with head coach Dirk Lange at the helm, will be based in Daegu, South Korea, for a training and acclimatisation camp before arriving in Beijing on August 6.
